Canon Business Services ANZ boosts sales team with six new hires

Wed, 29th Oct 2025

Canon Business Services ANZ has announced six new appointments within its sales team across Australia and New Zealand.

The move brings fresh leadership and additional resources to support CBS's client base and further its expansion throughout the region.

New appointments

Mario Palermo has been appointed Sales Manager for Victoria, while Constantine Liaromatis takes responsibility as Sales Manager covering New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, and Queensland. The business development team is also being strengthened with Michael Corbo joining as Business Development Manager for South Australia, Manu Ramachandran for New South Wales, Daniel Nwokoye for New South Wales and ACT, and Nadir Kambata for New Zealand.

CBS now serves over 600 customers across Australia and New Zealand, including more than 80 financial services firms, 25 healthcare and not-for-profit organisations, and more than 30 government clients. The appointments are designed to address increased demand for technology services and to support existing clients more effectively.

Experience and responsibilities

The new team members bring a variety of industry experience to their roles. Mario Palermo joins CBS with over 20 years of experience in technology sales within the Victorian market, including roles with both vendors and system integrators. Constantine Liaromatis has a background in leading teams within the IT services sector, having managed both sales and strategic operations. Manu Ramanchandran and Nadir Kambata offer business development experience specific to their respective regions. Michael Corbo brings 17 years of experience from Microsoft, where he was responsible for the Mission Critical program across Australia and New Zealand. Daniel Nwokoye has networks and experience within both government and enterprise markets.

Client focus

According to CBS, the appointments are a response to growing client demand for technology partners that can help solve core challenges and support business success in an increasingly complex market. The company has highlighted its commitment to providing tailored solutions by deepening its sales leadership across multiple states and key regions in New Zealand.

"Over the past few years, we've seen incredibly rapid change in the IT and business solutions landscape," Mr Palermo said. "From navigating the rollout of AI, to helping protect against an increasingly complex security threat environment, customers are looking for a partner who goes beyond surface-level fixes. I'm looking forward to helping our customers solve complex challenges and get where they're going faster and smarter."

CBS is aiming to deliver genuine outcomes for clients facing challenges in cloud services, cybersecurity, automation, and related areas.

Leadership perspectives

"In today's landscape, clients need a partner who delivers genuine outcomes, not just technology," Mr Clark said. "Mario, Constantine, and our new Business Development team all embody our solutionist approach of digging deeper with customers to solve the right problem. Their expertise will be vital as we continue to invest in our capabilities and support our clients' success."

Both Mr Palermo and Mr Liaromatis are available for customer enquiries in their new roles, with the broader sales and business development team supporting activities at both national and regional levels.

The new appointments mark a period of growth and transition for CBS as it aims to meet the evolving needs of industries across ANZ, particularly in sectors such as finance, healthcare, and government.
