Exabeam appoints sales & channel managers for APJ
Wed, 27th Jan 2021
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Exabeam has appointed new channel and sales managers as the company grows its Asia Pacific and Japan presence to support demand in the region.

Exabeam states that it is seeing ‘significant growth in demand' for its SIEM solutions, with a total of four new regional hires in the region year to date covering sales, pre-sales, channel and customer support.

The company has selected Chris Mladenovski as its Australia and New Zealand regional sales director, while Daisuke Suzuki is working as the company's Japan head of channel.

Mladenovski comes from Vectra AI, where he was the company's Australia and New Zealand regional sales manager. He has also worked at Thales e-Security, and Melbourne IT.

Suzuki comes from Microsoft as senior enterprise cybersecurity executive, and has also worked at Palo Alto Networks as channel business manager, as well as CA Technologies as solution account director.

“Attackers continue to leverage compromised user credentials to infiltrate and move laterally within an organization, and our clients look to Exabeam to provide visibility into the anomalous behaviour associated with such attacks,” says Exabeam's Asia Pacific and Japan vice president of sales, Gareth Cox.

“Building out the APJ Exabeam team even further with the recruitment of Chris and Daisuke will enable us to support increasing demand from end users and channel partners, and is another important step in enabling the business to fulfil its huge potential here and on the global stage.

The company has also been on a recruitment drive across its wider global business.  In December, the company hired new chief marketing officer Sherry Lowe, who previously worked as vice president of corporate marketing Splunk.

Lowe is responsible for Exabeam's global marketing strategy and reports to Exabeam president Ralph Pisani.

“As the cyber threat landscape becomes more complex in our digital, highly remote world, I look forward to leading marketing in an organization that provides strategic clarity for struggling security teams,” said Lowe at the time of her appointment.

“Exabeam is truly focusing on the customer, and I could not be more excited to join CEO Nir Polak, Ralph and the rest of the team in broadening the reach of these important messages.

“With the tenacity that made me one of the first female sportscasters allowed in an NFL locker room and drove my former employers to IPO and acquisition, I am excited to be a key member of the executive team to help accelerate Exabeam's already impressive success.
