Fujitsu appoints Kendy Hau to lead Defence for Oceania region

Fujitsu has named Kendy Hau as Head of Defence for Oceania, expanding the company's leadership in supporting Australia's defence and national security sectors. Hau joins Fujitsu with more than 20 years of experience in Defence, national security, and advanced technology roles.

Defence expertise

Hau's background includes operational deployments in the Middle East and stewardship of complex Defence portfolios. She has held senior positions focused on modernising Australia's critical national security environments. Her appointment is expected to strengthen Fujitsu's engagement with Defence clients in the region.

Technology portfolio

Fujitsu has a long-standing relationship with the Australian Defence Force, providing advanced information and communications technology services. The company currently supports over 100 Defence bases in Australia, deploying technologies in areas such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and cybersecurity.

Its workforce dedicated to Defence includes more than 800 specialists, many of whom are veterans, and over 1,300 security-cleared ICT professionals delivering mission-critical services domestically.

Sovereign capability

The company emphasises the delivery of sovereign ICT capabilities and advanced solutions tailored for the Defence sector. Fujitsu combines global research and development in emerging technologies with local expertise to enhance the operational effectiveness and security of Australia's Defence Forces.
