Rimini Street unveils AI agentic UX to boost legacy ERP systems
Rimini Street has introduced Rimini Agentic UX, a new AI-focused user engagement layer designed to work with existing Oracle, SAP and VMware systems. The solution targets enterprises that want to enhance their ERP processes without undertaking major upgrades or migrations.
AI automation
Rimini Agentic UX provides agentic AI automation and persona-based workflows, aiming to increase execution speed and reduce manual labour requirements within legacy enterprise systems. The layer sits above existing ERP deployments, promising to unify operations through an orchestrated interface which can be configured to suit different roles across an organisation.
According to Rimini Street, the offering delivers improved productivity and enterprise-wide visibility by streamlining process execution at scale. The company says it is currently being used in dozens of customer projects and is positioned to drive operational savings without demanding additional investments in software upgrades or new infrastructure.
Maintaining existing investments
Seth Ravin, President and Chief Executive Officer at Rimini Street, highlighted the value of extending the life of existing systems.
"Traditional ERP Software is reaching its technical and functional limits and lacks the agility required for an enterprise to respond with speed to today's ever-changing environment," said Seth Ravin, president and CEO at Rimini Street. "Rimini Street is leading the way forward with Rimini Agentic UX, bringing Agentic AI ERP to the real world. With Rimini Agentic UX and the Rimini Smart Path methodology, we can maximise the full potential of a client's existing solutions, deploying Agentic AI ERP over the top of existing ERP Software to deliver savings and value in weeks, not months - and within the existing budget."
Smart Path approach
Rimini Agentic UX is delivered in conjunction with the Rimini Smart Path, a methodology developed by the company to help organisations gain more from their existing software assets. Rimini Street says its support and optimisation services have enabled clients to redirect funds from software maintenance towards other priorities including technology innovation.
The solution offers a set of composable interfaces, focused on driving productivity and efficiency for specific roles through AI orchestration. By unifying workflows and automating common processes, customers can achieve what the company describes as "enterprise-wide transformation" without the disruption often associated with core software upgrades.
Customer adoption
Enterprises across various industries are said to be deploying Rimini Agentic UX as part of business-wide initiatives to modernise without expanding IT budgets. Kevin Khoo, Chief Information Officer at Sunway, said:
"Without Rimini Street, a ton of our projects would still be stuck at the proposal stage," said Kevin Khoo, CIO at Sunway. "Instead, they've allowed us to start executing AI projects and other major tech initiatives that will be fundamental to competing and providing an excellent customer experience going forward."
