Atturra enhances HR processes with SAP SuccessFactors deployment

Atturra, an Australian advisory and IT solutions provider, has implemented SAP SuccessFactors to enhance its HR processes. This move aims to improve HR data accuracy, boost onboarding and learning experiences, and reduce employee turnover. The implementation, which began in October 2022 and concluded a year later, was highlighted at the SAP NOW ANZ event.

The company had been grappling with basic HR systems, fragmented spreadsheets, and manual document tracking. As the team expanded, the administrative burden increased, leading to delays and diminishing the quality of employee engagement. Issues arose with infrequent performance reviews, poor data quality, and the absence of a structured training platform, which subsequently hindered both individual and business growth.

Atturra partnered with Discovery Consulting to roll out SAP SuccessFactors across its operations. The implementation included core HR services such as Employee Central, Onboarding, Learning, Performance & Goals, and Recruiting. A phased approach was adopted to establish a change management framework, facilitate cultural transition, and grant better insight into Atturra’s people data, which in turn allowed for the tailoring of performance and learning objectives.

The results of the implementation have been significant. Atturra now boasts an automated onboarding process and offers employees access to self-service tools and learning resources. Compliance training has been enhanced as well. Data accuracy for both employee and organisational HR metrics has increased by 78 per cent, while managers have seen a 49 per cent reduction in the time spent on HR-related administrative tasks. Staff turnover has decreased by 15 per cent.
