Conferma announces major rebranding to enhance global business connectivity
Thu, 22nd Feb 2024

Conferma, previously known as Conferma Pay and renowned for being a pioneer in virtual card technology, has announced a significant rebranding campaign. The initiative is an embodiment of its mission to enable any company worldwide to connect and conduct business simply.

Acknowledging the limitations of aged payment systems, Conferma is devoted to delivering innovative solutions that expedite and simplify payments, paving the way for worldwide businesses to take advantage of untapped opportunities.

This initiative to rebrand came after Sabre, a dominant player in the field of travel software and technology, acquired Conferma in August 2022. Later, in November 2022, Mastercard made a minority investment in Conferma.

Jason Lalor, the CEO of Conferma, vocalised the company's commitment to catalyse digital transformation in payments, stating, "Our goal is to apply technology to break down barriers and advance connectivity in the global business landscape. With our extensive ecosystem and unparalleled footprint in the travel marketplace specifically, Conferma is uniquely positioned to serve as a central network facilitating seamless transactions between businesses and their banking partner of choice."

Lalor noted that Conferma's primary focus is to streamline payment processes worldwide and stressed the company's nimble ability to leverage existing technology to connect new ecosystems. "Having been at Conferma for the last 12 months, it's clear that we have incredibly talented people and industry-leading products."

Lalor emphasised their commitment to enhancing and supporting the travel industry ecosystem while leveraging their technology to extend connections into new areas like account payables and procurement. They also highlighted their ongoing investment in and leadership of invoice reconciliation, particularly through their Snap+ product, both now and in the future.

"Our focus is to continue to strengthen and serve that travel ecosystem while also utilising our underlying technology to connect new ecosystems in areas such as account payables and procurement. Additionally, we will continue to invest and lead in invoice reconciliation with our Snap + product here in 2024 and beyond," said Lalor.

In sync with its pledge to enhance customer experience, Conferma has rolled out an upgraded customer service feature, providing uninterrupted dedicated support 24/7, 365 days a year. This step reaffirms Conferma's commitment to ensuring effortless and simple usage of its virtual card technology by businesses worldwide.

Conferma's strengthened commercial team, headed by Chief Commercial Officer Sonya Geelon, is primed for additional growth and expansion in important regions. Key appointments, including Ben Alderman as Regional Director of North America and Head of Travel, and the promotion of Adam Williams to Head of Commercial in Asia Pacific, equip Conferma to innovate and elevate its offerings further.

Lalor remarked on the enhanced team: "These senior appointments put us on a really strong footing to innovate and expand our offering, and I'm delighted that they are part of our growing expert team."
