Dayforce unveils AI tools to boost HR productivity & planning

Dayforce has announced the introduction of two AI-based solutions aimed at transforming the human capital management sector.

The first of these, Dayforce AI Agents, focuses on automating routine and time-consuming tasks to enhance employee productivity and job satisfaction.

According to the company, this tool utilises a singular source of reliable personnel data as its foundation, aiming to streamline workflows across the entirety of the employee lifecycle.

Joe Korngiebel, Chief Strategy, Product, and Technology Officer at Dayforce, stated, "From swapping shifts to creating new learning and development courses, Dayforce AI Agents will provide hyper-personalised and intuitive work experiences that will drive quantifiable value for employees and HR managers alike. Dayforce AI Agents are built to anticipate common business processes and simplify complex, multi-step tasks. This includes handling items such as time off requests and HR case creations, with the goal of enabling employees to focus on strategic initiatives. The solution employs natural language processing to efficiently understand employee intent and orchestrates these functions within the Dayforce platform.

The second initiative, Dayforce Strategic Workforce Planning, is tailored to address intricate workforce planning requirements.

Embedded within the Dayforce platform, this AI-enhanced solution is designed to provide leaders with real-time, data-driven intelligence to make informed decisions concerning workforce needs.

The challenges of strategic workforce planning typically arise due to various factors, including legal requirements, global compliance, and talent supply and demand. By centralising real-time data, Dayforce aims to offer a comprehensive view of business operations, integrating both internal and external data sources.

Dayforce plans to make both Dayforce AI Agents and Dayforce Strategic Workforce Planning available to select customers in 2025.
