Fabletics partners with Blue Yonder for supply chain boost
Fabletics has announced its partnership with Blue Yonder to enhance its supply chain planning operations.
The active lifestyle brand will utilise Blue Yonder's SaaS-based supply chain planning solutions in demand planning, allocation and replenishment, merchandise financial planning, and size scaling to expand its global presence. Plantensive, a Blue Yonder partner, will assist in implementing these solutions.
With the integration of Blue Yonder solutions, Fabletics aims to establish a comprehensive and adaptable planning toolset that aligns with its growth objectives. The system will leverage diverse datasets and algorithms to provide inventory recommendations tailored to each brand, improving business processes across its direct-to-consumer e-commerce, retail, dropship, and wholesale channels. This transformation is expected to lead to enhanced inventory turns and revenue improvement.
Fabletics' new planning processes are also anticipated to contribute positively to sustainability efforts by optimising inventory placements, thereby reducing waste and supporting the company's CarbonNeutral certification. The use of demand planning and forecasting will allow the brand to address growing customer expectations efficiently.
Additionally, Fabletics will achieve higher planner productivity and improved inventory management through enhanced understanding of demand drivers and customer behaviour. The allocation solutions are designed to ensure optimal inventory distribution, reducing excess inventory and preventing unnecessary markdowns. Merchandise financial planning will enable Fabletics to link enterprise-wide strategic plans to shared goals, facilitating consumer-centric, omni-channel financial guidelines for managing inventory profitability. Size scaling capability will allow detailed analysis to ensure the availability of appropriate sizes in each location, further reducing excess stock.
