Interactive, a top-tier technology service provider, has joined forces with illion, a data and analytics company, to migrate the latter's digital technology and security infrastructure from private hosting to the public cloud.
With origins tracing back to 1887 (operating formerly as Dun & Bradstreet), illion is a significant consumer and commercial credit bureau in Australasia. The company securely stores and analyses the data of countless individuals and commercial entities, consistently investing in product innovation and maintaining a strong reputation for its expertise in credit risk management.
Interactive and illion's partnership spans over eight years, during which time Interactive has provided hardware maintenance support and accompanied illion through numerous digital transformation initiatives and infrastructure changes. Each step was carefully orchestrated to successfully achieve illion's goals and objectives.
Since 2016, illion has been investing in bureau modernisation, shifting an increasing number of its services to cloud technology. With Interactive's assistance, illion had previously migrated its data centres to a private cloud in 2018. Currently, Interactive's role in illion's modernisation programme involves upgrading its overall technology and security stack.
