Kaseya extends successful TruPeer growth programme to Australia
Tue, 5th Mar 2024

Kaseya, the US-based IT management software company, is broadening its successful TruPeer growth programme to Managed Service Providers (MSPs) in Australia, a development designed to help these enterprises increase customer bases and grow recurring revenue.

The TruPeer initiative, established in 2021, is a variation on the traditional industry peer group experience, melding elements of training and mentorship with the support and accountability that come from affiliation with a group of like-minded businesses. The programme takes its foundation from the TruMethods framework, a metrics-oriented approach proven to build successful MSP businesses. Participants in this programme can expect to increase their monthly recurring revenue, raise client satisfaction ratings, and add new customers at a steady, predictable rate.

Having run the TruPeer community in the US since its inception three years ago, Kaseya is extending its outreach in response to strong demand from its partners down under, an initiative already boasting 400 members stateside. The Australian MSPs participating in the programme will have quarterly face-to-face and online peer meetings, supplemented with bi-weekly accountability calls. Participants will also have access to webinars, coaching sessions and specialised training materials designed to cover a wide range of key strategic areas such as profitability, scalability, company value, as well as sales, packaging, and pricing.

As stated by the company, TruPeer has already made a discernible impact on its members' bottom line; these businesses now enjoy net profits that are among the top 10% in the industry, and seat prices that average 20%-30% higher than the industry mean. Ivan Janssen, a TruPeer member from eManaged, highlighted the value of the programme stating, "The business framework provided me with assurances we were going down the right path. It is a roadmap to achieving the profit we all dream about." He added that sharing ideas and learning from peers was beneficial to adapting and growing his business.

Former CEO of Virtual IT Group, Daniel Garcia, has recently joined Kaseya to head the Australian division of the TruPeer programme, working under the supervisory guidance of Gary Pica, President of TruMethods, and Dan Tomaszewski, Kaseya's Executive VP of the Channel. Speaking of his own experiences with the programme, Garcia said, "When I joined ... it provided me with so many insights and learnings that shortcutted us to success. Not only did the frameworks and measures provide us with the blueprint, working with peers provided the opportunity to talk openly about how to achieve success."

According to the company, Kaseya's proven program and successful expansion into the Australian market is indicative of the growing importance of community, collaboration and shared learning in driving MSP growth, profitability, and lasting success in the evolving tech industry.
