Wed, 27th Mar 2024

Logicalis Australia has revealed that it has acquired Microsoft's managed extended detection and response (MXDR) partner status, signifying its potent MXDR services. By achieving this status, the company depicts its reliable security operations centre (SOC) filled with extensive capabilities like 24/7/365 proactive searching, monitoring, and response, all of which apply to the Microsoft Security platform's integrations.

This prestigious global recognition mirrors Logicalis's advanced proficiencies in cyber defence. It leverages its intelligent security portfolio and global network of security operation centres. It is worth noting that this solution merges the prowess of expert-trained technology with human-led services and has been vetted by Microsoft's engineers.

Toby Alcock, Logicalis's Global Chief Technology Officer (CTO), acknowledged that "As cyber threats continue to grow in scale and sophistication, this certification demonstrates our deepening expertise in managed security and commitment to staying on the cutting edge. Our global reach, extensive Microsoft partnership, and advanced MXDR capabilities equip us to vigilantly safeguard organisations worldwide."

Logicalis is now among an exclusive group of service providers, joining the few worldwide Microsoft partners possessing global MXDR status. It is adequately qualified to deliver Microsoft's highly sophisticated managed detection and response services. Rob Lefferts, Microsoft's Corporate Vice President of Modern Protection and SOC, extended his congratulations on Logicalis achieving the MXDR solution status. "Logicalis's solution closely integrates with Microsoft 365 Defender and Microsoft Sentinel, verified by Microsoft Security engineering to assure comprehensive service coverage across the Microsoft Security portfolio," Lefferts stated.

Logicalis is also a member of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA), which Maria Thompson, the lead of MISA, says is "comprised of some of the most reliable and trusted security companies across the globe. Our members share Microsoft's commitment to collaboration within the cybersecurity community to improve our customers' ability to predict, detect, and respond to security threats faster. We're thrilled to recognise and welcome Logicalis's MXDR solution to the MISA portfolio."

With a global presence and providing services to more than 10,000 clients up to date, Logicalis's major accomplishment underscores its commitment to delivering top-notch security services and capabilities globally, thereby protecting its clients against persistent cyber threats.
