Logicalis Australia appoints Peter Cardassis as Technical lead
Logicalis Australia has named Peter Cardassis as its new Technical Services Director, with his appointment effective from 19 May 2025.
Cardassis will be tasked with overseeing Logicalis Australia's consulting, implementation, support, and managed services functions. The role includes driving operational efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction while leading efforts to modernise the company's technical service offerings. He will also focus on strengthening engagements with key partners, particularly Cisco and Microsoft.
Logicalis Australia stated that Cardassis's appointment comes at a pivotal time as the company aims to accelerate its growth by enhancing technical capabilities and adopting new service models.
Cardassis joins the company with a broad leadership background in global technology organisations, having previously held roles at Cisco, Dell, and NTT. His expertise spans consulting, project management, managed services, and technical delivery.
Lisa Fortey, General Manager, Logicalis Australia, said, "Logicalis is thrilled to welcome Peter to the team. His exceptional leadership credentials, customer-centric mindset, and passion for technology perfectly align with the Logicalis vision. Peter's expertise will play a crucial role in helping Logicalis Australia drive operational excellence, deliver greater value to clients, and continue building a world-class technical services organisation."
Cardassis himself commented on the new role, saying, "I'm excited to join Logicalis Australia and lead a team of highly skilled professionals committed to delivering exceptional outcomes. As clients face growing complexity across technology, operations, and innovation, Logicalis Australia has a unique opportunity to become their most trusted partner in co-creating long-term value, not just delivering services. My focus will be on strengthening client relationships, evolving services with their needs, and fostering a culture that thrives on excellence, accountability, and adaptability."
The company referenced its recent CIO Report 2025, which highlighted the increasing demand from organisations for trusted technology partners capable of navigating complexity, optimising investments, and delivering sustainable outcomes. Logicalis Australia stated that Cardassis's focus on innovation, solution modernisation, and customer success positions the company to meet these expectations and pursue new market opportunities.
The appointment of Cardassis also completes Logicalis Australia's leadership organisational structure, following the appointment of Lisa Fortey as General Manager earlier in 2025. The company said this strategic structure is designed to align the senior team to address emerging customer needs and respond to market opportunities.
Logicalis operates globally with a reported annualised revenue of USD $1.7 billion and has a presence in over 30 territories worldwide.
