Remote has announced the appointment of John Kelly as their new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). In his new position, Kelly will be charged with the task of driving global revenue via new sales, customer acquisition, retention, market expansion, and channel development.
Remote's modern platform is used by thousands of businesses who rely on the company's legal, financial, and cultural expertise to onboard, pay, and manage both employees and contractors across more than 200 countries and jurisdictions, including those located in Singapore and Malaysia.
Kelly will join the team during a period of dynamic growth for Remote, which has recently expanded into new markets and acquired Easop. With a professional background featuring over 25 years of experience leading go-to-market teams in an array of high-growth SaaS businesses and large global enterprises, Kelly's appointment is a strategic move for Remote.
His wealth of experience includes his time as President/COO at SupportLogic and senior leadership roles at Hired, DemandBase, Symphony Talent, Oracle, and SAP. Kelly will be reporting directly to Remote's CEO, Job van der Voort.
For Remote, 2024 is the year of "big swings," as noted by van der Voort, co-founder and CEO of Remote. He commented, "We're aiming to do things bigger and better for our current and future customers. With John joining us, we are well-positioned to accelerate our mission to shape the future of work. I look forward to seeing his impact in the company over the coming years and I am confident that his skills and experience will be instrumental in furthering our commitment to expanding access to global employment opportunities and solidifying our position as the world's leading global HR platform."
In response to his appointment, Kelly said, "It's inspiring to see how far the company has come already, reflecting Remote's agility and market fit. With our team spanning continents, we have so much collective expertise to tap into and I believe that will further propel our remarkable growth."
Embodying the company's ethos, Kelly will be working remotely and asynchronously from his location of choice – Texas. With Kelly's wealth of experience and proven track record, Remote is confident to set a solid footing in their ambition of shaping the future of work and becoming the leader in global HR platform.
