Adobe Express simplifies content creation for SMBs & non-profits

Fri, 13th Sep 2024

Adobe Express has introduced new enhancements aimed at simplifying content creation for solopreneurs and small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs).

These updates are designed to facilitate the production of on-brand content for various departments, including Marketing, Human Resources, and Sales, thus enabling more efficient and effective workflows.

Adobe Express is now available for teams at AUD $71.98 per license annually, which includes advanced AI features without additional charges. This offer, contingent upon a minimum requirement of two seats, is valid for up to three years, provided there is a one-year commitment.

The application aims to assist smaller businesses in meeting their content demands despite having limited resources and expertise. Adobe Express integrates Adobe's leading creative tools into a user-friendly app that all team members can utilise to create content that adds business value. Zac Weikal, a marketer helping small businesses and personal brands, noted the benefits, stating, "I've spent a lot of time working in other content apps and it has become clear that Adobe really understands the challenges small business owners like me face. With Adobe Express, I can create all the content I need – from sales presentations to marketing campaigns – at a price that that makes sense for my budget. Switching to Adobe Express was an easy decision."

Adobe Express includes AI features that are integrated into workflows rather than being offered as separate upsell functionalities. The AI, powered by Adobe Firefly, facilitates faster and easier business outcomes, and is incorporated in Adobe Express for teams at no extra cost. These generative AI-powered features are designed to be commercially safe, ensuring businesses of all sizes can confidently produce and publish content.

Govind Balakrishnan, Senior Vice President of Adobe Express and Creative Cloud Services, commented on the reception of these new capabilities, "Since launching new Adobe Express business capabilities earlier this year, we've seen incredible adoption across marketing, sales, HR and communications teams in larger companies. We're excited to make it easier than ever before for solopreneurs and SMBs to leverage the same powerful tools large companies use to grow their brands and businesses."

The latest features include tools for creating on-brand business content with ease. Template locking and brand control capabilities allow users to secure essential brand elements like colours and fonts in shared templates, which team members can repurpose while maintaining brand integrity. Brand kits enable anyone to apply brand fonts and colours instantly to designs, images, and illustrations. Integration with Adobe Acrobat enhances support for working with PDFs, allowing users to import, edit and convert PDF files seamlessly.

Campaign creation is another focus, with options to bulk create and generate variations of images and text using AI. Facilities to rephrase, shorten, or change the tone of copy and resize designs for multiple channels are all available with just a click. The app syncs with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, ensuring that any edits made in these programs are automatically updated in Adobe Express. Projects can serve as centralised hubs for organising and sharing files, brands, and libraries, enabling real-time collaboration and ensuring all team members stay synced.

Anthony Ezidro, CEO of Patient10x, a healthcare marketing agency, shared his experience with Adobe Express, "With Adobe Express, we've cut our content creation time from two to three days down to just four hours or less. This dramatic improvement allows us to be much more responsive and productive."

Many non-profit organisations also face challenges similar to small businesses. Adobe Express provides them with free access to premium features to help them communicate and expand their reach. Deborah Leiter, Senior Vice President of the Ad Council, elaborated on their use of the tool, "Creating a playbook in Adobe Express for our 'Love, Your Mind' campaign gives us a foundation to maintain integrity and branding for our work. It provides an effective way for media and agencies to partner with us and deliver quality, on-brand content." The campaign has generated over 900,000 visits to its website.

The new Adobe Express for Teams offer, available immediately, runs until 30 September 2024. Non-profit organisations interested in accessing Adobe Express can find more information directly from Adobe.
