AgProcure wins Qlik award for contract analytics platform

AgProcure has won the Qlik Platform Excellence award at the 2026 Qlik ANZ Data Impact Awards for its supplier contract analytics and reporting platform.
Developed with data and digital transformation firm Notitia, the platform uses Qlik Cloud Analytics, Qlik Application Automation, Snowflake data processing and Inphinity review tools. It is intended to improve how AgProcure analyses supplier contracts, validates transactions and produces customer reports across its retail and procurement work.
AgProcure is an Australian-owned business that provides supplier contract management and validation services. Its work involves large volumes of transactional purchasing data to identify pricing variances, check supplier agreements and support reporting across multiple retailer groups.
Grant Bailey, Owner and General Manager at AgProcure, said the project moved specialist knowledge from manual processes into a more centralised analytics environment.
"AgProcure works with large volumes of transactional purchasing data to validate supplier agreements, identify pricing variances and support reporting across multiple retailer groups," Bailey said.
"Our existing processes contained years of specialist knowledge and business logic, but relied heavily on complex manual data processes and multiple reporting steps.
"This project has allowed us to bring that knowledge into a more centralised, governed and scalable analytics environment."
The platform combines automated analysis with specialist review rather than removing human involvement from the process. Authorised users can review, approve or correct results where transaction matches require further investigation.
Bailey said the changes allow staff to spend more time investigating exceptions and discrepancies.
"Automating parts of the processing workflow allows our specialists to concentrate on reviewing exceptions, investigating discrepancies and applying the commercial knowledge needed to support our customers," he said.
"Human review remains an important part of the process, particularly where a result requires further validation or context."
Workflow changes
According to AgProcure, the platform applies existing business rules through governed analytics processes to improve consistency in transaction analysis and reporting. It is also designed to identify supplier pricing variances, retailer margins and purchasing trends through a connected workflow.
The system consolidates reporting workflows and records decisions as specialists investigate potential issues and confirm results. AgProcure said this gives it a more consistent basis for secure customer reporting.
Bailey said the system was built to support changing customer reporting requirements.
"The purpose of the platform is to strengthen the depth and scalability of the services we provide," he said.
"It provides a foundation from which we can continue developing our customer reporting capabilities while retaining the specialist review and validation at the centre of AgProcure's work."
Partner response
Notitia, which worked with AgProcure on the project, said the award reflected the combination of analytics, automation and human review in a single operational system.

Qlik also described the project as an example of analytics being linked with operational review and decision-making rather than used only for reporting.
