Oliver Bte, the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Management of Allianz SE since May 2015, has been appointed to the Board of Directors at Coalition, an Active Insurance provider specialising in digital risk. Mr Bäte, with over a quarter of a century of experience within the industry, offers a wealth of knowledge in global operations and long-term planning.

On 29 November 2023, Coalition proudly heralded the appointment of Mr Bäte, whose experience will be particularly beneficial for the firm given the rapidly evolving cyber insurance market. By leveraging Mr Bte's insight, Coalition express confidence in fulfilling its ambitious goal of ensuring protection for the many organisations that remain unprotected in this digital age.

Mr Bäte's illustrious career at Allianz Group began when he took on the role of CEO of Allianz SE in 2015. Before acquiring this position, he held several leadership roles at McKinsey and Company, including Director of the firm's European insurance and asset management practice. As a longstanding executive, his experience and strategic outlook will add a significant depth to the Coalition board.
