Calastone names Nick Parsons as new Chief Technology Officer

Calastone, the largest global funds network, has announced the appointment of Nick Parsons as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In his global role, Nick will oversee Calastone's technology operations, product strategy, and development, across all regions including Asia Pacific. Asia Pacific continues to be a pivotal growth region for Calastone.

Bringing more than three decades of IT and asset management experience to the role, Nick has a well-documented history in the financial sector. He has been praised for specialising in providing solutions for fund managers, wealth managers, and administrators. Prior to his appointment at Calastone, Nick held numerous c-level roles at the software company Bravura Solutions, including CEO, highlighting his proven leadership capabilities.

Expressing his excitement upon joining Calastone, Nick said, "I am thrilled to be joining the company pioneering the digital transformation of the funds industry globally and transforming multiple new areas of the value chain. I have long admired Calastone's history of adapting and innovating to meet market needs across the asset management industry and the business is well placed to support asset managers and servicers on their digitalisation journey. I look forward to joining Calastone's talented and driven team as CTO and helping to drive the growth of the business as it expands globally."

Furthermore, Calastone has also announced the role of Adam Belding as Chief Architect. He will be tasked with leading Calastone's Digital Investments programme and collaborating with clients to foster new digital tokenised investment models. This agenda exemplifies the next generation of collective investment.
