iCatalyst appoints delivery executives for ERP growth

Wed, 15th Apr 2026

iCatalyst has appointed Ulrich Theaart and Jason Cuolahan to newly created Delivery Executive roles, expanding its senior delivery leadership in Australia.

The appointments come as the Australian-owned Microsoft business applications consultancy increases its focus on larger enterprise resource planning and digital transformation projects. In their roles, Theaart and Cuolahan will oversee strategic advisory work, governance, delivery oversight and stakeholder engagement across enterprise programmes.

Each brings more than 20 years of experience in ERP and transformation work. Theaart most recently worked at Capgemini, where he led large transformation initiatives with executive leadership teams across several industries. Cuolahan joins from DXC Technology, where he oversaw major ERP implementations and broader transformation programmes for enterprise customers.

iCatalyst created the roles in response to changing customer demand in enterprise transformation, where board-level oversight, programme governance and executive decision-making have become more central to delivery.

Senior oversight

The roles are intended to provide senior direction across complex projects while also supporting consulting teams internally.

"The creation of the new solution executive role reflects the evolving nature of ERP transformation projects and the increasing demand for strategic direction across complex transformation programs. ERP transformation is no longer just about implementing a system; it's about reshaping how organisations operate.

"Customers need partners who can provide strategic guidance as well as delivery capability. Ulrich Theaart and Jason Cuolahan have both led major transformation initiatives throughout their careers. They bring the experience and credibility required to lead complex enterprise programs and support our customers through that journey.

"These appointments also reflect iCatalyst's continued growth and its ambition to be the most specialised and experienced Microsoft Dynamics Business Applications partner in Australia. As we take on larger and more complex transformation programs, strengthening expertise across our delivery teams is critical," said Zel Hilliar, General Manager - Enterprise Delivery, iCatalyst.

The Delivery Executives will also mentor consultants and support the development of iCatalyst's internal workforce as the company expands nationally. That includes coaching teams working on Microsoft Business Applications projects and adding more senior guidance to project delivery structures.

National growth

The appointments also align with iCatalyst's expansion across Australian markets. Cuolahan is based in Melbourne, where the company is looking to strengthen its presence in the eastern states. Theaart is based in Perth and will support growth in Western Australia.

Both executives are expected to work with customer leadership teams on strategic direction and programme governance, alongside oversight of project execution. That mix of responsibilities is intended to support long-term business outcomes in enterprise transformation work.

Theaart said the company's local focus was a factor in his move.

"iCatalyst's growth and commitment to investing in local capability made the decision to join the company an easy one. Watching iCatalyst thrive over the past few years in the Australian enterprise segment has been both inspiring and fun. iCatalyst's dedication to staying true to its Australian roots and investing in local talent really resonates with me, and I am excited to be joining the team," said Ulrich Theaart, Delivery Executive, iCatalyst.

Cuolahan said the company's leadership team and market standing also influenced his decision.

"iCatalyst's reputation and experienced leadership team was a key factor in my decision. iCatalyst has built an impressive reputation for delivering complex Microsoft Dynamics Business Applications transformation programs. The opportunity to work alongside such an experienced team and help customers deliver large-scale ERP transformation initiatives is incredibly exciting," said Jason Cuolahan, Delivery Executive, iCatalyst.

iCatalyst operates as a specialist consultancy in Microsoft Business Applications, with a focus on ERP and CRM projects. The two new executives will contribute not only to customer engagements but also to the wider consulting organisation as the company hires and develops more staff.

The additions come as consulting firms and software partners across Australia seek more senior programme leadership for large transformation projects, particularly where customers want closer engagement with experienced executives during implementation and governance phases. For iCatalyst, the hires add leadership in Perth and Melbourne as it builds its delivery team nationally.
