Informatica names Krish Vitaldevara as Chief Product Officer

Informatica has announced the appointment of Krish Vitaldevara as Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer.

Krish Vitaldevara joins Informatica with experience from roles at Microsoft, Google, and most recently, NetApp. While at NetApp, he held the position of Senior Vice President and General Manager, managing a large team in product management and engineering, and driving AI strategy enhancements in the company's product offerings.

Vitaldevara holds over 30 patents, reflecting his contributions to technological advancement and innovation. Amit Walia, Chief Executive Officer of Informatica, commented on the appointment, "I'm thrilled to have Krish join the team to help bring our vision for the future of AI-powered data management to life. As Chief Product Officer, Vitaldevara is expected to implement a product strategy that aligns with Informatica's business objectives. His role will focus on customer engagement and market expansion, enhancing product quality by leveraging AI and data-driven decision-making capabilities.

Informatica also recently welcomed Bala Kumaresan as Executive Vice President & Global Head of Engineering. Kumaresan, with a robust background in cloud data management from previous roles at companies including Informatica, Symantec, Oracle, and F5, adds further strength to Informatica's leadership in engineering and technology innovation.

Kumaresan holds over a dozen patents in clustered storage and data management, underscoring his expertise in the field. He possesses advanced degrees from the Indian Institute of Science and Pondicherry University, and his previous work continues to contribute to Informatica's engineering standards and performance.
