NCS & Newgen team up to accelerate digital system upgrades
NCS has announced a strategic partnership with low-code platform provider Newgen to support Australian businesses in updating legacy systems with minimal operational disruption.
The collaboration will deliver enterprise-scale low-code solutions and consultancy, enabling clients across industries to accelerate their digital transformation and system modernisation agendas. NCS brings expertise in sectors including finance, insurance, large corporations, public sector, and utilities, aiming to help organisations optimise and rebuild workflows and processes alongside existing IT infrastructure.
Glenn Irvine, National Lead for Partner Solutions at NCS in Australia, said, "This partnership with Newgen isn't just about technology - it's about accelerating digital transformation for our clients, giving legacy systems a new lease on life and empowering organisations to adapt quickly without major IT overhauls."
Central to the partnership is the integration of NewgenONE, Newgen's AI-enabled digital transformation platform, and NCS' AI and data expertise. The two companies intend to deliver a range of next-generation low-code applications tailored to the Australian market, addressing the needs of large enterprises faced with ageing technology infrastructure.

Discussing the approach, Irvine continued, "Our approach caters specifically to enterprise clients, with experience in domains such as superannuation, insurance, and banking, providing the skill set necessary to connect and enhance legacy systems. This is where modernisation investments are best placed to quickly achieve efficiency and resilience. Our partnership strategy with NewGen allows us to deliver enterprise-ready capabilities that offer lasting value for our customers."
The partnership gains further relevance with Newgen's recent recognition in the Low-Code Platforms for Professional Developers Landscape Report (Q4 2024) by Forrester Research. In this report, Newgen was highlighted for its focus on AI agents, business intelligence/reporting, and integration layers, with these capabilities identified as key reasons clients work with the platform. Newgen was noted as one of the notable vendors for extended use cases among low-code platforms, though the report does not constitute an endorsement of any vendor or product by Forrester.
Krishna Kumar, ANZ Country Head for Newgen Software, said, "Our partnership with NCS Australia will enable organisations across sectors to overcome technical debt and reimagine their operations using a robust and future-ready platform. I'm excited to see this partnership help both of our teams drive innovation and efficiency, helping enterprise-scale businesses be more future-ready and resilient."
