Phil Davis joins Prophet advisory board to drive global growth
Phil Davis, Vice President Global Go-To-Market at Google Cloud, has been appointed to the advisory board of decision intelligence firm Prophet. The company has confirmed Davis as the second member of its global advisory group, which brings together expertise from the worlds of cloud technology, artificial intelligence, and statistical modelling.
Board expansion
Davis brings leadership experience from roles at Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, and Hewlett Packard. His main focus at Prophet will be advising on go-to-market strategy as the company looks to expand into new enterprise markets and scale internationally. He is expected to guide Prophet's structuring of strategic partnerships and the company's approach to sales and market activation.
Davis's appointment follows the recent addition of Professor Andrew Gelman of Columbia University, a leading authority in Bayesian statistics and data modelling, to Prophet's advisory board. Together, the advisory group provides insights to support Prophet's goal of broadening capabilities beyond marketing into wider areas of organisational and commercial business modelling.
