Rachel Conlan to keynote at AusCryptoCon in Sydney

Mon, 28th Oct 2024

Rachel Conlan, Global Chief Marketing Officer at Binance, has been confirmed as the keynote speaker for AusCryptoCon 2024 in Sydney.

The event, regarded as the largest and longest-established crypto gathering in the Southern Hemisphere, will welcome approximately 10,000 enthusiasts to the ICC Sydney from 23-24 November. Rachel Conlan, who oversees global marketing and brand campaigns at Binance, plans to discuss global trends in crypto adoption, Binance's mission regarding crypto accessibility, and upcoming innovations for Australian users.

Conlan expressed enthusiasm about engaging with the Australian crypto community, especially after an eventful year for the industry, noting increased activity. "At Binance, we hit a major milestone in June, reaching 200 million users, and by August, we became the first crypto brand to surpass 1 million subscribers on YouTube—a key platform for engaging and educating our global community," she stated.

She continued, "Our focus has always been putting users first, ensuring we support them at every step of their crypto journey, no matter where they are. I'm thrilled to be connecting with our community in Australia at AusCryptoCon and look forward to exchanging ideas on how we can continue advocating for our users."

James Quinn-Kumar, Marketing Director of Binance Australia and New Zealand, emphasised the company's dedication to supporting the crypto ecosystem in Australia and described Binance's partnership with AusCryptoCon as vital. "As the largest crypto exchange globally and locally, we are committed to continuing our development of the crypto ecosystem in Australia and supporting our local users on their crypto journey," he remarked.

Quinn-Kumar added, "The landscape in Australia has grown to be very vibrant and supporting homegrown events such as AusCryptoCon goes a long way in strengthening our local community while reaching new users."

David Haslop, Founder of the Australian Crypto Convention, expressed enthusiasm in once again partnering with Binance for the event. "As the Australian Crypto Convention continues to grow, we remain committed to bridging the gap between the crypto community and companies like Binance, who play such a pivotal role in the ecosystem," he said.

Haslop also commented, "It's vital that we create spaces where these connections can flourish, fostering innovation, education, and meaningful dialogue. With Binance once again joining us as Title Sponsor, we're excited to amplify the reach and impact of the event, ensuring that the community is not only informed but also empowered to engage directly with the companies shaping the future of crypto."

AusCryptoCon, now in its third year, has solidified its position as the premier event for cryptocurrency and blockchain enthusiasts in the region. Over 1,000 companies are expected to participate, and the convention will feature exclusive insights into blockchain developments, with a programme that includes keynote addresses, side events, industry panels, and interactive sessions.

The 2024 Australian Crypto Convention presents a key opportunity for both seasoned investors and newcomers to connect with the local crypto and blockchain network and learn from industry leaders.
