Scott Armul promoted to EVP at Vertiv for 2025

Today

Vertiv has announced the promotion of Scott Armul to Executive Vice President of Global Portfolio and Business Units, effective from 1 January 2025.

The company, which is a provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, has tasked Armul with driving a growth-oriented global portfolio strategy as it seeks to expand its offerings in response to evolving industry and customer demands in the digital economy.

Scott Armul will report directly to CEO Giordano Albertazzi in his new role. Alongside Stephen Liang, who will focus on his duties as Chief Technology Officer, Armul is expected to guide Vertiv's approach to future technology developments. Armul will oversee engineering research and development, as well as Vertiv's business units, which include solutions in thermal management, power management, IT systems, infrastructure solutions, and global services.

"During a time when AI is driving unprecedented demand for compute, our customers rely on our innovation and technology stewardship," said Albertazzi. "With his knowledge of the business and industry, strategic thinking, and great customer intimacy, I'm confident that Scott will guide Vertiv's global portfolio and business units to intensely lead the industry and more rapidly and profoundly enable our customers to achieve their infrastructure business objectives."

Armul expressed enthusiasm about his new responsibility. "My experience across technical, leadership and customer-oriented roles at Vertiv has provided deep insights into our business and how we deliver value to the market," he stated. "This is an exciting, dynamic time to be in our industry, and we are well positioned to enable the rapid pace of evolution. I'm looking forward to joining the executive team and continuing to drive excellence in our business units and our portfolio of solutions."

Armul's journey with Vertiv began in 2009 as a business planning and development MBA intern, returning in 2010 as a strategic planner full-time. Over the years, he served in various roles, including Senior Marketing Manager for Vertiv Services and Director of AC Power Product Management. He has also held positions as Vice President and General Manager of DC Power and Outside Plant Solutions for the Americas, and Vice President of Global DC Power and Outside Plant. Most recently, Armul served as Vice President of Global Strategic Accounts, where he was instrumental in increasing order volumes and implementing strategic initiatives linked to the company's growth.
