Tim Wintrip appointed CEO of Lemongrass

Today

Tim Wintrip has been appointed as the new CEO of Lemongrass, replacing Mike Rosenbloom, who will step into a role on the company's Board of Directors.

Wintrip carries over 30 years of experience in enterprise software and services to his new position at Lemongrass. His career includes executive sales and delivery roles at companies such as Dell EMC, CSC, Virtustream, and VMware. He has amassed substantial operational and delivery expertise by overseeing complex IT environments for large organisations, including the Royal Bank of Scotland and PNC Bank. Previously, at VISA, Wintrip held the position of Vice President of Global Systems Engineering, where he led an initiative to develop developer-centric services that embraced a DevOps culture and supported agile methodologies. Since 2022, he has served as Chief Customer Officer at Lemongrass.

Rosenbloom expressed his contentment with his tenure, stating, "These past five years as CEO of Lemongrass have been incredibly fulfilling, closing out this year profitably and with record revenue." He added, "Having accomplished this, I feel the timing is right for me to embark on a new chapter in my career, doing something I'm equally passionate about – providing strategic guidance to emerging and startup tech companies through Board and Advisory roles."

Wintrip assumes leadership during a period of significant expansion for Lemongrass, a company that partners with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and SAP. The company has completed over 220 SAP engagements in more than 20 countries. With its Lemongrass Cloud Platform, Lemongrass facilitates near-zero downtime migrations to the Cloud for well-known brands, including Cintas, Covestro, Fender, and Heineken. Additionally, the company provides Managed Services for SAP and related workloads and has recently introduced services to expedite migrations to RISE with SAP.

Reflecting on Wintrip's contribution to the company, Rosenbloom stated, "Tim joined us over three years ago and has played a critical role in our growth and success. I am confident that his exceptional skills and experience make him the perfect person to lead Lemongrass going forward."

In his new role, Wintrip said, "I am honored to take over as CEO and want to thank Mike and the Board for this opportunity. Lemongrass has firmly established itself as a leader in the SAP-to-Cloud market, and as CEO, I will be focused on continuing our mission to efficiently modernize SAP-centric landscapes for our Enterprise customers."

Wintrip's appointment as CEO will be effective from 1 January 2025.
