Carlos Mercuriali appointed VP for Avalara's global growth

Avalara has announced the appointment of Carlos Mercuriali as Senior Vice President, General Manager of International Business Operations.

Carlos Mercuriali joins Avalara with extensive experience in global operations, having spent over 12 years at SAP in sales and general management roles. His career covers a vast geographical area, including the U.S., Latin America, and the EMEA regions.

In his new role at Avalara, Mercuriali is tasked with advancing the company's strategy to broaden its international reach and foster the adoption of Avalara's core offerings across advice tax, e-invoicing, cross-border compliance, and other related services. These efforts aim to provide comprehensive global compliance solutions to Avalara's clients.
