Vertiv appoints Frank Poncheri as new Chief HR Officer

Vertiv has announced the appointment of Frank Poncheri as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), reporting directly to CEO Giordano Albertazzi.

Poncheri is set to oversee the company's human resources strategy, development, and execution, with aims to fortify Vertiv's strategic objectives and cultural practices.

With a 15-year career in human resources and corporate strategy, Poncheri brings a wealth of experience in global employee development, talent management, and fostering high-performance workplace cultures. His prior positions include vice president of HR and corporate integration, as well as divisional HR director at Owens Corning, where he spent a decade working in the United States and Finland. Poncheri's career commenced at GE Aerospace, where he participated in an intensive HR Leadership Program.

CEO Giordano Albertazzi remarked on the significance of the new appointment, stating, "As Vertiv continues to drive innovation and industry leadership, our continued success is heavily influenced by the quality of our teams. He conveyed his anticipation to advance Vertiv's standing in the sector by directing HR strategies and empowering employees with the necessary tools for both personal and organisational growth.

His academic credentials include two degrees from The Ohio State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Labor Relations and Human Resources from the Max M. Fisher College of Business.
