Where should I press releases?

You must send press releases to editors@techday.com or they will not be considered.

Can we update a press release after sending it?

No, the first version received will be considered the final.

In what format should I send press releases?

You must include the body of the press release in the body of the email.

Attached or linked releases will be rejected.

Images can be attached or linked to.

How does TechDay handle embargoes?

When embargoes are clearly identified on the original email, TechDay will always respect them.

There is no need to send us an email asking if we agree to an embargo.

Use the words Embargo or Embargoed in the subject line and body of your email.

Specify the embargo time, date and timezone toward the start of your email.

How long will it take to assess my press release?

There are no guarantees of coverage.

Our Editors pick only the best 5-8% of press releases for writing into news stories.

You will be notified by email if we pick up your news for coverage.

Publication timing depends on editorial workload and news value.

Releases sent to us are archived after seven days.

You will not be notified, if we do not select your release for writing into a news story.
