Canon expands imageFORCE range with new A3, A4 printers

Mon, 8th Dec 2025

Canon Australia has expanded its imageFORCE printer range with a new series of A3 and A4 office devices aimed at corporate and smaller workplace environments.

The launch introduces the imageFORCE C3150, an A3 colour multifunction printer, and a new compact A4 line-up. The A4 range includes the colour imageFORCE C1333F multifunction printer, the colour C1333P single-function printer, and the black-and-white 1440F multifunction and 1440P single-function series.

Canon positions the expanded line-up as a response to changing office requirements. The company highlights scalability, security features, user experience and sustainability as key design focuses.

The additions sit under the imageFORCE brand, which Canon is building as a single platform for its office print products. The platform draws together elements from the previous imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX and imageCLASS X lines.

The company now offers colour and monochrome models in both multifunction and single-function formats within imageFORCE. It presents devices for higher-volume departmental environments as well as smaller workgroups that have limited space.

Canon has brought a broad selection of its office print products under the imageFORCE name. The range spans compact A4 desktop printers and larger multifunction units aimed at light production work.

Canon states that the unified platform simplifies its portfolio for customers. The group describes the move as part of a strategy that focuses on one broad office multifunction print line.

A3 colour focus

The imageFORCE C3150 is the new A3 colour multifunction model. Canon is targeting medium to large corporate offices that require higher speeds in a relatively compact footprint.

The C3150 sits alongside the existing imageFORCE C5100 series. It extends Canon's A3 colour multifunction range in the mid to high office segment.

The device offers print output at up to 4800dpi resolution. It uses Canon's new OLED technology for image rendering.

Canon has added a security function called the Security Environment Estimation Engine. This feature uses a software algorithm that analyses the network. It automatically proposes security settings and tracks potential risks.

The C3150 features a new user interface. This design is shared with other recent imageFORCE A3 models. Canon says the interface aims to increase visibility and accessibility for office users.

The device supports cloud connectivity. It is compatible with uniFLOW Online for print and scan workflows. It also works with Canon's Cloud Connector option for direct scanning to and printing from selected cloud services.

Canon states that the C3150 includes a higher proportion of recycled material. The device uses 30% recycled plastic and has reduced energy consumption compared with previous models.

Compact A4 range

The new A4 imageFORCE devices target smaller offices and satellite locations. Canon is positioning these models for environments that need daily or occasional print and scan functions, and that supplement larger A3 fleets.

The A4 colour models include the imageFORCE C1333F multifunction printer and the C1333P single-function printer. The 1440F and 1440P series provide black-and-white options in multifunction and single-function forms.

Canon states that the A4 line-up focuses on a compact footprint and flexible deployment. The company highlights image quality, productivity and user experience as central elements of the design.

The models include a Security Settings Navigator feature. This function guides administrators through security configuration on the devices.

Canon describes the A4 printers as a cost-conscious choice for broader rollouts. The company sees them as suitable for installation across multiple departments or branch locations.

Unified platform strategy

The wider imageFORCE portfolio now includes the existing C5100 and 6100 series. Those lines address higher-volume print and scan scenarios. The imageFORCE C7165 sits at the upper end of the office range and supports light production tasks.

Canon says the full imageFORCE range is designed to connect with business software and services. The devices integrate with cloud print services, fleet management tools, document process automation systems and security monitoring services.

The group presents imageFORCE as a long-term platform for organisations that want print infrastructure that can scale with changing workloads.

Yoshinori Moritaki, Director - Sales and Support Group, Canon Oceania, said Canon is focusing on print in changing work conditions.

"Canon, as a market leader at the forefront of print innovation, is dedicated to equipping customers with the innovative solutions they need to thrive in a rapidly shifting work environment," said Yoshinori Moritaki, Director - Sales and Support Group, Canon Oceania.

He said the company sees the imageFORCE platform as a key part of that approach.

"The imageFORCE platform is engineered for versatility and performance, delivering Canon's renowned image quality, comprehensive security features, and reliable design. With smart functionality and seamless integration into business workflows, the platform is well-suited to help organisations of all sizes drive workflow productivity and operational efficiency," said Moritaki.

The new imageFORCE C3150 and A4 models are now available from Canon Australia and its accredited partners.
