ConnectWise names Rik Thorbecke new CFO ahead of key event

ConnectWise has announced the joining of Rik Thorbecke as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Thorbecke joins the ConnectWise team amidst the anticipation of a major industry event – IT Nation Secure, a cybersecurity conference specifically aimed at MSPs, scheduled to take place from June 3-5 at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

Thorbecke possesses a rich career history across diverse industries, holding several leadership roles like CFO, COO, and Advisory Board Member. Most recently, he served as CFO at Virgin Pulse, a role in which he played a pivotal part in boosting the company's profitability by managing financial strategies and operations. Now, in his capacity as ConnectWise's CFO, Thorbecke will lead and manage the financial actions of the company, leveraging his unique perspective and professional prowess to streamline financial processes and augment company profitability.

Thorbecke's vast global experience covers sectors such as software, SaaS, Internet, cloud, telecommunications, and electronic manufacturing. He has proven skill sets in strategic finance, business planning, mergers and acquisitions, IPO readiness, investor relations, enterprise software, and business development. Thorbecke is particularly known for his customer-oriented approach towards business.
