Convera names Meaghan Riley Chief Commercial Officer
Convera has appointed Meaghan Riley as Chief Commercial Officer as the commercial payments firm reports double-digit revenue growth and nearly USD $190 billion in annual turnover.
Riley joins Convera from Google Cloud, where she served as Chief Operating Officer for North America. Convera said she led a go-to-market transformation and launched growth segments during her time at Google Cloud.
The company said the appointment forms part of its current growth plans across markets and sectors. Convera operates in commercial payments and foreign exchange-related services for businesses.

Career background
Before Google Cloud, Riley held senior leadership roles at DocuSign and SAP. Convera said she has managed operations across North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
Convera also pointed to her experience leading go-to-market teams. The company said it expects Riley to take a lead role in commercial execution across geographies and sectors.
Bill McNichols, Chairman of the Board at Convera, also referenced sales and marketing alignment as a focus for the company.
"As Convera continues to lead the market and deliver next generation commercial payments globally, Meaghan will play a key role in advancing our vision. She brings to Convera the know-how to enhance our market presence and unify our go-to-market (GTM) teams into a powerful revenue growth engine," said McNichols.
Riley said she would focus on revenue opportunities and demand for what she described as modern commercial payments.

Growth metrics
Convera said it delivered record performance in 2025. The company reported double-digit revenue growth. It also said total turnover rose to nearly USD $190 billion.
Convera reported payments transaction capacity of more than 18,000 transactions per hour. The company did not provide a breakdown of revenue by region or product line. It also did not disclose profitability measures in the announcement.
Gauthier said the company operated through uncertainty and complexity during the year.
"We knew 2025 would be an ambitious year for Convera. Like many organizations, we've had to navigate through uncertainty, but we've responded with resilience in a moment of challenge and complexity. As a result, we've made meaningful, measurable accomplishments worthy of celebrating," said Gauthier.
Compliance focus
Convera said it completed SOC2 certification as part of its security and compliance work. The company also said it established a strategic collaboration with iPID, which it described as a Know Your Payee verification provider.
Convera linked the iPID work to payment validation and the Verification of Payee mandate issued by the European Union. The company did not provide commercial terms for the collaboration.
AI deployment
Convera also said it deployed AI-powered solutions across the organisation. It referenced usage in engineering, sales, marketing, and operations. The company did not name specific models or vendors. It also did not quantify operational impact from the rollout.
Riley takes the commercial post as Convera continues to expand its footprint in cross-border payments. The company said its network spans more than 140 currencies and 200 countries and territories.
