Mon, 12th Feb 2024

CyberArk, an industry leader in Cybersecurity, has announced the appointment of Alana Sahakian as their Partner Manager for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). In her new role, Sahakian will be working under the supervision of Thomas Fikentscher, the Area Vice President for ANZ, and will be supported by CyberArk's Strategic Partner Manager, Stephenie Andal.

The role involves leading and expanding the channel business for ANZ. Sahakian, in collaboration with the ANZ channel team, will concentrate on nurturing key partnerships with global SIs, consultancies, MSPs and technology alliances in the CyberArk ecosystem. These strategic collaborations will play a crucial role in CyberArk's marketplace involvement.

Area Vice President for ANZ, Thomas Fikentscher says, "We are thrilled to introduce Alana as the newest addition to our rapidly growing team. CyberArk's channel ecosystem remains a vital component in bolstering our market presence in ANZ. Alana's appointment will allow CyberArk to strengthen our partnerships and work closely with them to address the cybersecurity needs of organisations across the Public and Private sectors."

Sahakian comes with a rich background in the industry. She has been in charge of the ANZ channel business at CyberArk, where she has effectively outlined and executed the region’s go-to-market channel strategy. This strategy has been paramount in supporting the company’s continuous expansion. Moreover, with a decade of experience in an assortment of enterprise software companies and proficiency across sales and channel management roles, she brings a versatile skill set to her role at CyberArk.

In her previous roles, Sahakian has developed and implemented new programmatic channel-led offerings and built strategic relationships with leading global organisations. "Alana is passionate about making partnerships meaningful and enjoyable whilst driving results," reports say. In her personal life, she is a keen part of the sailing community and enjoys her free hours out on Sydney Harbour.

Her extensive experience and demonstrated accomplishments clearly make Sahakian a strong fit for this role. However, her love for partnerships and delivering results will arguably be the key factors that help realise CyberArk's longer-term plans for the channel business in Australia and New Zealand.
