Excellence in accounting celebrated at MYOB’s Partner Awards

MYOB recognised accounting and bookkeeping excellence in Australia and New Zealand at its 11th annual Partner Connect Gala Dinner, with Lynley Averis of Accounting Training  awarded the top honour of Certified Consultant of the Year.

The prestigious 2019 Partner Awards celebrate MYOB-affiliate individuals, practices and partners across Australia and New Zealand through accolades including Accounting Practice of the Year, Young Accountant and Young Bookkeeper of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award and Education Partner of the Year.

The industry-leading awards were rigorously reviewed by a judging panel including MYOB's Senior Leadership Team and respected industry professionals and business leaders from Smiling Mind, ANZ, OnDeck and Netball New Zealand.

The 2019 MYOB Partner Award winners are:

Accountant of the Year: Mike Atkins, Atkins - Associates

Young Accountant of the Year (under 35): Kylie Liew, Giles - Liew Chartered Accountants

Bookkeeper of the Year: Sue Inkersell, 3rd Arm Admin

Young Bookkeeper of the Year (under 35): Joanne Mankelow, Mankelow Accounts Bookkeeing Services

Certified Consultant of the Year: Lynley Averis, Accounting Training

Lifetime Achievement Award: Jennie Kingma, JK Business Systems (title image)

Education Partner of the Year: University of Canterbury

Top Referring Practice: Findex NZ, Auckland

Accounting Practice of the Year: Atkins - Associates

Bookkeeping Practice of the Year: 3rd Arm Admin

Fastest Growing Add-on: Spotlight Reporting

Add-on Partner Choice 2019: Service M8

MYOB's General Manager of Product and 2019 Partner Awards judge, David Weickhardt, said the quality of the award candidates made selecting winners a real challenge.
