Gallagher Security is introducing a cloud-native Visitor Management Solution in Australia and will showcase it to the local market through an interactive display in Sydney.

The launch centres on a Visitor Management Solution built on Kenai, a cloud-based platform that combines visitor management, employee onboarding, compliance and workplace access in one system. Designed to work with Gallagher's Command Centre software, it aims to replace manual processes that often sit across separate systems.

The move adds a new product to Gallagher's Australian portfolio as it expands beyond traditional access control and perimeter security. It also reflects a broader regional push into software-led security tools, with the visitor management product positioned for organisations looking to manage staff, contractors and guests through a single interface.

Craig Schutte, Executive Vice President for APAC and IMEA at Gallagher, described the Australian market as an important destination for the product.

"As Australia's largest and longest-standing security event, Security Exhibition and Conference gives attendees the opportunity to experience and explore our new solutions and connect face-to-face with our team," said Craig Schutte, Executive Vice President for APAC and IMEA, Gallagher Security.

He also highlighted the event's role in bringing together suppliers, partners and customers from across the sector.

"It brings together the industry from across Australia and gives us a chance to showcase the innovations helping organisations stay secure and future ready," Schutte said.

Kenai rollout

This will be the first time Kenai is presented at the Australian security industry gathering. Rob Salzwedel, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kenai, is due to appear alongside Gallagher executives as the product is introduced to buyers and channel partners in the market.

Gallagher is the exclusive global distributor of Kenai. The arrangement gives it a route to take the visitor management platform into its installed base and partner network, including in Australia, where it said there has already been strong interest from end users internationally.

"This is the first time Kenai will be at Security Exhibition and Conference, along with Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kenai, Rob Salzwedel, and we're looking forward to sharing how this solution provides organisations a seamless and modern way to manage visitors, staff, and workplace operations," Schutte said.

Gallagher also outlined the operational case for the product in workplaces and managed sites where visitor handling, onboarding and compliance checks are still spread across different teams and applications.

"As the exclusive global distributor of Kenai, we are very excited to bring this Visitor Management Solution to our Australian network after strong interest across Gallagher's global End Users," Schutte said.

Broader portfolio

Alongside the new visitor management product, Gallagher is also presenting updates to its wider security portfolio for the Australian market. These include Command Centre v9.50, the full release of AccessNow, the F5 and F6 Fence Controllers, and OneLink.

Those products reflect the company's established focus on site security, access systems and perimeter protection. By placing the visitor management offer alongside them, Gallagher is tying front-of-house workflows more closely to its existing command and control systems.

Senior leadership will also be visible in the market during the rollout. Chief Executive Officer Mark Junge and Chief Product Officer Josh Arnold are expected to join the Australian team, underlining the importance Gallagher places on the region within its Asia-Pacific and international operations.

Gallagher has long maintained a presence in Australia, where security buyers span commercial property, education, healthcare, government and critical infrastructure. The addition of a cloud-based visitor management platform gives the company another software product to take into those sectors, particularly where organisations want to connect site access with workplace administration.

The platform is intended to unify several administrative and security functions in a single experience. That places it in a competitive part of the market, where physical security providers are increasingly extending into workplace software and compliance tools as customers seek fewer disconnected systems.

For Gallagher, the Australian introduction of the Kenai-based product is also a test of how far its channel can take a software-led offer adjacent to its core hardware and access control business. Its emphasis on integration with Command Centre suggests it sees its existing customer base as a natural starting point for adoption.

Gallagher describes Kenai as a cloud-based platform that brings together visitor management, employee onboarding, compliance and workplace access in one experience.
