InfoTrack & Legora link AI workflows with legal data

InfoTrack and Legora have partnered to connect Australian legal, property and compliance data with AI-assisted legal workflows. The arrangement links Legora's platform with selected InfoTrack services in a single working environment for law firms.
Using InfoTrack.ai, InfoTrack's Model Context Protocol platform, the integration connects Legora's legal AI system with services including property searches, company information and identity verification, subject to each firm's permissions and controls.
The move reflects a broader shift in the legal sector as firms look beyond basic AI tools to systems that fit established professional processes. A central issue is whether the information used by AI systems can be trusted, traced and reviewed in work subject to regulatory and professional obligations.
InfoTrack's role in the arrangement is to provide access to verified data sources used in legal practice, including Australian government registries, ASIC, identity verification frameworks, financial institutions and regulated conveyancing processes.
Legora's software is used for legal research, drafting, review, collaboration and agentic workflows. InfoTrack.ai is designed to connect AI agents to external data sources with human approval and audit records. Together, the systems are intended to let lawyers move from AI-assisted analysis to the steps needed to progress a matter without leaving the same environment.
Implementation focus
The companies are targeting a point in the market where legal practices are moving from testing AI products to using them routinely. That shift has increased pressure on suppliers to show how AI tools fit with data provenance rules, security requirements and existing review processes.
Ajay Kumar, Head of AI Solutions at InfoTrack, outlined the rationale behind the partnership.
"The profession has always required information underpinning legal work to come from sources that can be relied upon," Kumar said.
"This partnership brings verified data into the AI workflows firms are adopting, so lawyers do not have to choose between efficiency and integrity."
Heather Paterson, Vice President of Legora APJ, said the issue becomes more pronounced as legal work adopts more automated processes.
"As legal work moves toward agentic workflows, the verified data behind every action becomes critical," Paterson said.
"Bringing InfoTrack's trusted property and corporate data into Legora means stronger validation and citation, while significantly reducing friction across the matters our partner firms handle every day."
Market reach
Legora's platform is used by tens of thousands of legal professionals across more than 1,200 law firms and in-house legal teams in over 50 markets. Customers include international law firms and professional services groups such as Bird & Bird, Cleary Gottlieb, White & Case, Linklaters, Deloitte, Dentons and Goodwin.
InfoTrack has operated in the Australian legal technology market for more than two decades, providing access to data, compliance tools and workflow products used by legal practitioners. The company launched InfoTrack.ai in 2025 as a platform designed to connect AI agents with verified data sources.
The partnership centres on a practical question facing law firms adopting AI: how to combine automated legal work with the trusted external records and checks still needed to complete transactions and other matters.
