Kellton Tech reported first-quarter FY27 revenue of ₹3,163 million, up 6.8% year on year.

EBITDA for the quarter was ₹350 million and net profit was ₹223 million.

Revenue was slightly lower than the previous quarter's ₹3,196 million. EBITDA margin stood at 11.1%, profit after tax margin was 7.1%, and earnings per share were ₹0.42.

The Hyderabad-based technology services group used the quarter to expand its focus on AI-led products and client projects across sectors including energy, financial services, agriculture and industrial services.

Among the operational milestones, it deployed its Optima Digital Oilfield Platform for Oil India, enabling real-time monitoring of 77 production wells across 46 plinths through a digital wellhead monitoring system. The work was completed within six months.

It also modernised a loan origination system and sales portal for a non-banking financial company, creating a cloud-ready digital lending platform with updated workflows and integrations. The project also supported the launch of a Loan Against Property offering.

In the agriculture sector, Kellton Tech modernised AI-enabled enterprise platforms for employees, retailers and channel partners at a global agriculture client. The work involved automation and data-driven workflows aimed at improving operations and user experience.

Product launches

During the quarter, Kellton Tech launched Phoenix.AI, a platform designed to convert monolithic applications into cloud-native microservices. It said the product uses autonomous code intelligence and AI-assisted engineering.

It also introduced Structi.ai, described as an enterprise AI context engine that turns unstructured data into AI-ready information at scale. According to Kellton Tech, the product can process more than 10 million data assets a day across more than 50 data formats.

The company also reached Select Tier Partner status in Snowflake AI Data Cloud Services during the quarter, adding to its efforts to deepen work in AI, data platforms, cloud modernisation and analytics.

Client activity

New business in the quarter included a project for a Fortune India 500 conglomerate to build a unified enterprise workflow platform covering financial and governance processes. The engagement will use AI-assisted automation and integrated workflows.

Elsewhere, Kellton Tech is working with a UAE enterprise group on a cloud-native operating platform linking business operations, finance and governance. Another project involves an intelligent field service platform for a global pest management services group.

It also expanded its relationship with a global industrial services enterprise to modernise a field operations platform. In the Middle East, the company is developing an AI-enabled enterprise workflow platform for an energy infrastructure company.

Public sector work

The group also received a BW Businessworld PEOPLE TECH.FUTURE 2026 Gold Award for Best HR Tech for its work on the Government of Karnataka's HRMS2 programme. The public-sector workforce modernisation initiative serves more than 520,000 government employees through a unified digital HR system.

Kellton Tech operates across the US, Europe, India and Asia-Pacific and serves clients ranging from start-ups to large listed groups. It has about 1,500 employees.

Commenting on the quarterly figures, the company pointed to steady customer relationships and continued demand for AI, modernisation and efficiency projects.

"Our 6.8% year-on-year revenue growth in Q1 FY27 reflects the consistency we are seeing across our business. The continuity of our existing engagements and the strength of our customer relationships provide us with a solid foundation, while evolving enterprise priorities around AI, modernization and efficiency are creating new avenues for growth. During the quarter, we continued to strengthen our market position through strategic client wins, expansion of our AI-led platform portfolio, deeper technology partnerships, and the successful execution of large-scale digital transformation programs.

These initiatives reinforce our capabilities across AI, cloud, data, enterprise platforms and intelligent automation, while creating a stronger foundation for sustainable long-term growth. We continue to invest in people, AI-led capabilities, platforms and IP-led opportunities to deepen our relevance with customers and strengthen our differentiation. As we move through FY27, we remain confident in building on this foundation, maintaining the momentum in our business, and creating long-term value for our customers and shareholders," said Niranjan Chintam, Chairman & Whole-time Director, Kellton Tech.
