Leap Telecommunications' Matthew Enger wins big at 2024 ACOMM
The winners of the 2024 Communications Alliance Awards were announced yesterday evening at the 18th Annual ACOMM Awards Dinner in Sydney.
The event featured a keynote address by the Federal Minister for Communications, The Hon. Michelle Rowland MP.
Matthew Enger, Managing Director and founder of Leap Telecommunications (Leaptel) and Chair of the Internet Association of Australia Ltd (IAA), was awarded the title of Communications Ambassador 2024 at the ceremony.
Enger's career in the internet industry began early, when as a high school student, he upgraded his school's connectivity from a dial-up modem to a Linux box running IP masquerade over a 64k ATM link. He has since made significant contributions to the internet sector in both Australia and New Zealand, focusing on delivering quality internet to homes and businesses.
