Paul Tuffs named as Tanium's VP for A/NZ in expansion bid
Tanium, the industry's premier provider of Converged Endpoint Management (XEM), has declared the appointment of Paul Tuffs as the Regional Vice President for A/NZ. This move forms part of the Tanium's strategic intent to bolster expansion in that area. Carrying almost thirty years of invaluable experience in the technology sector, Tuffs is expected to utilise his extensive range of skills to spearhead the company's regional growth initiatives.
Tanuum's new appointee, Tuffs, held the position of Regional Vice President at the AI-driven spend management platform, Coupa in his recent role. Predominantly, he nurtured a significant love relationship with the cloud services firm, Rackspace, for over a decade, culminating in various leadership roles inclusive of the Sales Director of A/NZ. His vast experience within high-paced working environments has endowed him with a deep-rooted understanding of the many corporate needs, thereby equipping him with a strong track record of leading high-performing teams and driving exponential growth.
Gartner's research findings have shown that 87% of CIOs and technology executives are set to inject more funds into cybersecurity this year, indicating a significant increase in demand for cybersecurity services within the A/NZ market. Capitalising on this growing appetite, as regional VP, Tuffs aims to steer strategic initiatives, foster robust partnerships, and potentiate organisations to adopt autonomous endpoint management.
Upon his appointment, Tuffs remarks, "The intersection between AI, IT operations, and security is an exciting space to be in right now. With so many high-profile breaches in A/NZ in recent years, it's clear there is a need to improve visibility and real-time monitoring of endpoints to proactively reduce risk. I'm thrilled to be a part of the Tanium team as they lead the way in autonomous endpoint management and I look forward to working with its talented people on the ground."
Simultaneously, Tanium is elevating James Greenwood to the position of Regional Vice President of Technical Account Management. Greenwood's new role will segment him with the responsibility of steering the pre-sales and enterprise services teams across the A/NZ and ASEAN territories.
