Rackspace welcomes two new senior Asia Pacific execs

Rackspace has appointed two new executives for its Asia Pacific operations. Effective immediately, Sean Girvin succeeds Darryn McCoskery as managing director of Rackspace Australia and New Zealand; and Sandeep Bhargava steps into a newly created role as managing director of Asia-Pacific Japan.

Girvin will be based from Rackspace’s office in Sydney. He will be responsible for leading Rackspace as the partner of choice for cloud services. He will also work to develop a workplace that attracts and develops the best talent in the industry.
Girvin was previously was vice president, head of sales for HPE South Pacific. He also has held leadership positions at HP and Electronic Data Systems (EDS), working in more than 40 countries.

Bhargavas will be based in Rackspace’s Singapore office. He will be responsible for driving Rackspace’s growth across the region and establishing strong local teams to ensure customers receive the Rackspace Fanatical Experience.
Bhargavas joins Rackspace with more than 20 years of IT services experience, including roles at DXC Technology, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), HP, Dell EMC and Procter & Gamble.
