SentinelOne appoints Kris Day for Asia Pacific leadership

SentinelOne has appointed Kris Day as Senior Vice President and General Manager for Asia Pacific and Japan, to be based in Singapore.

The company made the announcement and highlighted Day's role in directing the go-to-market and growth strategies, along with managing customer, partner, and personnel responsibilities in the region.

Kris Day, upon his appointment, said, "As the threat landscape continues to evolve and become increasingly complex, organisations are prioritising investments in cybersecurity solutions that can keep their operations safe."

He further expressed his excitement about joining the firm, stating, "SentinelOne is a pioneer and leader in AI-powered security, and I am thrilled to be joining the team and working to deliver world-class offerings that empower organisations across the region to achieve world-class cyber defence."

Day brings over 25 years of expertise in sales, executive, and leadership roles within the IT industry. His most recent position was as Senior Vice President and General Manager Asia Pacific and Japan at New Relic, a company specialising in application performance management. In that role, he was instrumental in advancing the firm's regional growth strategy.

His career portfolio includes significant roles at Dell EMC, NetApp, SolidFire, Hewlett-Packard, and 3PAR, where he held senior regional and director positions. Earlier, he contributed his expertise in Europe with NTT and EMC.
