Zone & Co has launched Zoe by Zone, an agentic orchestration layer that runs inside NetSuite and coordinates software agents for finance work.
The company describes Zoe as a control layer for finance teams that organises tasks and routes work to subject-matter agents. Zone positions the product as part of its ERP-native financial operations platform for organisations that run processes in NetSuite.
Zoe's first delivered function is subscription intelligence within ZoneBilling, Zone's billing product for NetSuite users. ZoneBilling targets recurring revenue workflows and subscription billing processes.
Subscription focus
Zone said the subscription intelligence feature flags unbilled subscriptions and associated value at risk. It also monitors upcoming renewals over 30, 60, or 90 days. The feature checks whether charges align with expected invoice amounts.
Zone said users can run these checks without leaving their NetSuite workflow. The company also said Zoe coordinates analysis and actions within the ERP environment.
Zone framed the launch around a broader finance operations issue. It said finance teams often spend time searching for answers across ERP records, logs and documentation. Zone said this work can involve building saved searches and interpreting complex system configurations. It said this activity slows response times and introduces errors.
Zoe uses what Zone calls a unified interface for interaction with agents. Zone said these agents use accounting context and business rules when they process tasks.
Product direction
Zone said Zoe will expand with additional subject-matter agents across quote-to-cash, procure-to-pay, treasury, payments, payroll and reporting. The company said the agents will sit under a single orchestration layer.
Zone also said these agents will operate on the same data set inside the platform. It said this keeps financial intelligence consistent, compliant and auditable.
Agentic systems have become a key theme in enterprise software, as vendors position AI tools as systems that can manage multi-step workflows rather than provide stand-alone recommendations. ERP vendors and their ecosystems have also focused on embedding AI features directly into transactional systems where finance teams spend much of their day.
"The industry has reached an inflection point where 'AI features' are no longer enough," said Billie Miric, Global Head of Product, Zone & Co.
"Finance requires an intelligence fabric that doesn't just surface data, but orchestrates execution. Zoe is the foundation of the agentic finance enterprise, removing friction for finance teams by shifting the cognitive tax of data-chasing to an autonomous digital workforce," said Miric.
Availability
Zone said subscription intelligence will initially go to select customers. The company said it expects broader availability in the coming months.
Zone said more than 4,000 companies use its platform worldwide. It named Salesloft, Figma and Avalara among its customers. The company said Zoe will expand into additional finance workflows as it rolls out more subject-matter agents.
